Since I sucked at my job today, I thought I would console myself with a meal that would make my cardiologist blush.

At least I walked here. I used to drink here, but it is shockingly easy to sit here at the bar across  from the bourbon bottles and not drink. I don’t miss it at all. I sat at the bar and stared at the bottles to see if I would be tempted, and I felt nothing. It’s weird and not what I expected. I thought it would be harder.

Looks tasty, I’m sure my cardiologist will be unhappy when I hit up a Brazilian steakhouse next week.

I took a different route in my mental health treatment last night. Sat on my couch, fired up the stereo, and listened to the Beatles/other rock at levels pushing/exceeding 100 dB. My ears and my neighbors probably didn’t enjoy that, but sometimes you need something in excess to make you feel better. Try to stay sane today. The weekend is near.
